HOW DID YOU DISCOVER THE WORLD OF WATCHMAKING?

It is a question that I get asked very often and I could not really say since I was little I liked watches my mother says she painted watches on my wrists and I have always liked them and then when I was young you continue with your watch and you get very fond of it and all that because you only have one. How I dedicated myself professionally to watches, it's from something else I started helping to build a watch website and then in 2014 or 2013 I decided to set up my own website to talk about watches as I wanted to talk, making videos and so on and that.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE WATCH BRANDS?

Well I have no favorite brands, there are watches that I like a lot of a brand others do not, from another brand I like some others do not, so there are so many brands, my favorite brand in terms of what? Those who make chronographs? Or the decoration or the most unique design? I don't know, fortunately there is a huge offer and there is always something that you like one of another and something that you like a lot of one and there is something that you like a lot of another, and yet of that same brand, well not so much that other one, fortunately I can not say I have a favorite brand.

FOR YOU, WHAT IS THE PERFECT WATCH FOR THE DAY TO DAY?

the perfect watch for the day to day is yours, that's it, there is no way back, because I flee from the idea that you have to follow the rules and you have to have this or that. When you have a watch, and it's because you like it, that's your watch. As general recommendations, I would say it should be a watch that is not too big, that has 50 meters of waterproofness, so that you can wear it everywhere, and that's it. But above all what a watch has to have for the day to day is that you like to wear it and that every time you do so and look at it gives you pleasure. That is the ideal watch for the day to day.

AND THE WATCH OF YOUR DREAMS?

My ideal watch, that is a dream and it is impossible to have it, if I could if there was no money consideration would be the Lange & Zeitwerk Decimal Strike Honeygold or a minute repeater that unlike all others sounds gives a chime every hour and every ten minutes a small very slight chime. And it is also made in a gold that is that as they call it honey gold that Lange herself has created and that makes the whole a beauty that is my ideal dream.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST IN THE WORLD OF WATCHMAKING?

Well it's a very difficult question because apart from the pleasure of the watches and trying on watches what has given me in the watchmaking world is to connect with many people who have the same hobby or the same hobby or the same taste for mechanical watchmaking or watchmaking in general and also has led me, as I write many articles, has led me to know many things and has given me, has led me to realize the connection that watchmaking has with society. Watchmaking is not something that is apart from everything but is part of society and has responded to a series of historical needs and cultural movements and all that is something that has really given me great satisfaction because it is something that fills you and see that you are not writing about something abstract but something that has been important and remains important in our society.
