The Vostok Europe Undiné Mirror, limited to 3,000 watches, pairs a mirror-polished gray metal dial with an automatic movement on view from both sides.
A mirror-polished dial
The metal dial is polished to a mirror finish and carries printed scales. An opening on the dial side reveals the balance of the automatic movement. Super-LumiNova marks on the dial and hands help you read the time in low light.
An automatic on view
Through the case back window, you can see the TMI NH38 automatic movement and its rotor, decorated with Côtes de Genève stripes.
Built for the water
The rotating diver bezel lets you time a swim or a dive from the moment you set its marker. The case back screws down, and water resistance is rated at 200 meters.
Named for the undines
Undines are water spirits first described by the 16th-century physician Paracelsus, and the name comes from the Latin unda, meaning “wave.” Friedrich de la Motte Fouqué’s 1811 novella Undine later made them a favorite of German Romantic literature.
The details
The Japanese-made TMI NH38 automatic movement has 24 jewels and a 41-hour power reserve. It powers the hours, minutes, and seconds, without a date.
The 316L stainless steel case measures 39 mm across, 48 mm lug to lug, and 14.9 mm thick. A 3 mm thick K1 crystal, a hardened mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating, covers the dial. The screw-down case back has a window, and water resistance is rated at 200 meters.
The watch comes with an Italian gray suede strap, a semi-transparent silicone strap with pearl powder, and a white silicone strap. Each measures 20 mm at the lugs and fastens with a buckle. Quick-release spring bars let you swap them without tools. The watch ships in a Vostok Europe compact box.

The movement from the bridge side, with the rotor that winds the mainspring as the wrist moves and the balance swinging beside it.
A synthetic crystal that combines the shock resistance of hardened mineral glass with scratch resistance close to that of sapphire. On this watch, the crystal has an anti-reflective coating to improve readability.
The case measures 48 mm from lug to lug. That span across the top of the wrist matters more for fit than the 39 mm case diameter.
