Overview
Vostok Europe Undiné Mirror reveals its moving balance through a mirror-polished dial, with a striped winding rotor visible from the back.
Undiné takes its name from the water nymphs of Baltic and German-Scandinavian mythology. The name derives from the old Lithuanian word unduo, meaning water. The Mirror’s metal dial is polished to a reflective surface, with printed scales over the finish. An opening exposes the moving balance, with Super-LumiNova on the hands and dial markings.
The balance belongs to the Japanese TMI NH38 automatic movement, which drives the hour, minute, and seconds hands. A full wind supplies approximately 41 hours of running time. From the back, the rotor that winds the mainspring is visible with its Côtes de Genève decoration, a series of parallel stripes.
A rotating dive bezel surrounds the anti-reflective 3.0 mm K1 crystal. The 316L stainless steel case measures 39 mm across and 14.9 mm thick, with water resistance rated at 20 atm.
Three straps are included: Italian gray suede, semi-transparent silicone with pearl-effect powder, and white silicone. All measure 20 mm at the lugs and use quick-release spring bars and buckle closures. The set comes in a VE compact box, and production is limited to 3,000 watches.

Where does the name Undiné come from?
It comes from the undines, water nymphs of Baltic and German-Scandinavian mythology. The name derives from the old Lithuanian word unduo, meaning water.
What can you see through the case back?
The exhibition back shows the automatic movement and the rotor that winds its mainspring. The rotor turns as the wrist moves, transferring that motion to the winding mechanism. Its Côtes de Genève decoration consists of parallel stripes across the surface.
How does K1 crystal differ from sapphire?
K1 is reinforced mineral glass chosen for impact resistance. Sapphire is harder and more resistant to scratches, so the two materials have different strengths. The anti-reflective coating on this watch’s K1 crystal reduces glare.
Does the case diameter include the lugs?
The 39 mm diameter describes the width of the case. Its 48 mm lug-to-lug measurement runs in the other direction, from the tip of one lug to the tip of the opposite lug. That longer measurement describes how far the case extends along the wrist, which the diameter alone does not show.
Where are the watch and its movement made?
Vostok Europe assembles the watch in Vilnius, Lithuania, using a Japanese movement from Time Module Inc. (TMI). Founded in August 2003, the company began using Japanese movements in 2010 and stopped importing Russian movements in 2014.
What is visible through the opening in the dial?
The opening exposes the balance, which oscillates as the movement runs. Its motion can be seen against the surrounding mirror-polished metal, while the decorated winding rotor is visible through the back.
