The Namiki Yukari Urushi Vermilion fountain pen celebrates the color and depth of layered red lacquer, complemented by a gold-finished clip.
Multiple layers of vermilion urushi cover the generously sized body. Kokkokai artisans use Roiro Urushi finishing to develop the lacquer's polished red surface.
The Japanese-made pen has an 18k gold nib and a screw-on cap. It measures 149 mm capped, has a barrel width of 14.9 mm, and weighs 46.8 g with the cap. A traditional wooden box and an inkwell are included.

Le contrôle qualité de Namiki (et d’Iguana Sell avant l’envoi) garantit une plume qui répond pleinement aux attentes des clients les plus exigeants.
L’urushi est une matière chaude au toucher et très résistante aux rayures. La couleur vermillon est présente jusqu’au conduit sous la plume ce qui est un geste particulièrement esthétique. Ce stylo est clairement réalisé pour être un compagnon quotidien (une garantie à vie est d'ailleurs adjointe permettant d'intervenir pour tout défaut). Merci à Iguana pour un envoi en 24h et une réception 48h après la commande de ce stylo qui est (très) difficile à se procurer ; entre 3 et 9 mois sont en effet nécessaires pour la production d'une de ces pièces par Namiki.

I love this pen. The slight weight and polished finish feel great in the hand. The nib is wonderful. BB nib is really fun to use. And the pen is beautiful.
