Over my years of pen collecting, I have seen several excellent reviews of Nakaya pens and their history. I have attempted to purchase a Nakaya Heki-Tamenuri pen several times, but typically the pens were beyond my budget, sold out, or require being on a waiting list for several months.
As expected, this Nakaya pen writes beautifully (M-flex). And although it is a relatively large pen, it is remarkably light, fits comfortably in my hand, and is a delight to use.
I purchased this fine pen from IguanaSell given their Nakaya relationship (as an unauthorized dealer), my prior purchases from the dealer, and their excellent customer service.

A fine piece of work, for everyday use, stiffer than I expected. I think the old Nakata nibs were better tuned. In any case it is always a sample of the Nakaya fineness of product!
