Alpina Heritage Seastrong Diver 300 Automatic Watch with White Dial.
The Heritage collection reissues models from the Alpina archive in stainless steel under sapphire crystal. The Seastrong Diver 300 Heritage reinterprets the Seastrong 10 Super Compressor of the 1960s, the first Super Compressor by Alpina, with an internal diving bezel. Its stainless steel case is 42 mm in diameter and 12.30 mm thick.
An AL-525 automatic movement powers the hours, minutes, seconds and a date at 4 o’clock beneath a scratch-resistant box sapphire crystal. At 2 o’clock, a screw-down crown locks the bidirectional internal diving bezel.
The silver and black dial is sunray-finished, and the hands carry a luminescent treatment. The watch is fitted with a black rubber strap, measuring 21 mm at the lugs and secured by a pin buckle.

Where do the Heritage designs come from?
From models in the Alpina archive, reworked with present-day materials such as a sapphire crystal. Gottlieb Hauser founded Alpina in 1883, and the brand produces and assembles its movements and watches at its manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva.
How do you set the inner diving ring?
Unscrew the crown that drives the ring and turn it until the zero sits over the minute hand, then screw the crown back down. The ring turns both ways and stays locked while the crown is closed.
How long does it run when it is not worn?
A full wind delivers about a 38-hour power reserve. Daily wear keeps the mainspring topped up, and after a longer rest in a drawer a few turns of the crown restart it.
Who makes the movement?
Alpina builds the AL-525 on a Swiss Sellita SW200 automatic base, and assembles its watches at its manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, as part of the Frederique Constant group.
How does the luminescent treatment work?
The pigment on the hands and markers stores light and releases it in the dark. It is brightest just after exposure to daylight, fades gradually through the night and recharges the next time it sees light.
