The Vostok Europe Vilnelė, limited to 3,000 watches, frames a gradient green dial with a wave-cut bezel finished in yellow gold PVD.
A 30-minute chronograph
The Miyota JS20 quartz chronograph uses a small hand on a subdial to record intervals of up to 30 minutes. A small seconds hand and a 24-hour indicator share the dial.
A gradient green dial
The green dial is painted in a gradient and carries applied metal indexes. Super-LumiNova on the hands and indexes helps you read the time in low light.
A gold wave-cut bezel
Finished in yellow gold PVD, the bezel is cut in a wave pattern, a nod to the Vilnelė River.
Named for the Vilnelė
Vilnelė is the diminutive of Vilnia, a name linked to the Lithuanian vilnis, “wave.” The river flows through Vilnius and meets the Neris below Castle Hill.
The details
The Japanese-made Miyota JS20 quartz chronograph movement powers the hours, minutes, small seconds, 30-minute chronograph, and 24-hour indicator.
The 316L stainless steel case, with a yellow gold PVD bezel, measures 39 mm across, 46.5 mm lug to lug, and 11.9 mm thick. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating covers the dial. The crown and solid case back screw down, and water resistance is rated at 100 meters.
The watch comes with a green leather strap and a silicone strap, both 20 mm at the lugs and fastened with a buckle. It ships in a Vostok Europe compact box.
The river that runs through Vilnius past Castle Hill. Vilnelė is the diminutive of Vilnia, a name linked to the Lithuanian vilnis, wave, and the bezel of the line is cut in a wave to match it.
Sapphire’s hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale makes it highly resistant to everyday scratches. It can still be scratched by harder materials, and a hard impact can chip or crack it, especially at an edge. The anti-reflective coating cuts glare.
The case measures 46.5 mm from lug to lug. That span across the top of the wrist matters more for fit than the 39 mm case diameter.
