Vostok Europe N1 Rocket Chronograph times up to 60 minutes on a blue dial, with a leather strap and a polygonal unidirectional bezel.
N1 was the Soviet super-heavy launcher developed during the race to the Moon. Thirty engines burning kerosene and liquid oxygen powered its first stage, and the complete N1-L3 lunar launch system used five stages. The wider project also envisioned missions to Mars and Venus and the launch of large space stations. The collection takes its name from that engineering program.
A polygonal unidirectional bezel carries a dive scale around the blue dial. Super-LumiNova illuminates the hands, dial, and bezel. A 4.5 mm domed, hardened K1 crystal with anti-reflective coating covers the display.
The Japanese Miyota 6S21 quartz movement supplies the regular time and date, with a separate small seconds display. The chronograph measures up to 60 minutes, and its heart-cam reset returns the stopwatch hands directly to zero. A solid screw-down back closes the case. The 316L stainless steel case measures 46 mm across and 17 mm thick, with a screw-down crown and water resistance rated at 20 atm.
A leather strap measures 22 mm at the lugs and closes with a buckle. Production is limited to 3,000 watches.

K1 is reinforced mineral glass chosen for impact resistance. Sapphire is harder and more resistant to scratches, so the two materials have different strengths. The anti-reflective coating on this watch’s K1 crystal reduces glare.
The 46 mm diameter describes the width of the case. Its 55.4 mm lug-to-lug measurement runs in the other direction, from the tip of one lug to the tip of the opposite lug. That longer measurement describes how far the case extends along the wrist, which the diameter alone does not show.
Vostok Europe assembles the watch in Vilnius, Lithuania, using a Japanese movement from Miyota. Founded in August 2003, the company began using Japanese movements in 2010 and stopped importing Russian movements in 2014.
