The Pelikan Souverän M805 Black-Blue fountain pen brings together blue-and-black striped cellulose acetate, black resin, and silver-toned details.
The barrel starts with striped cellulose acetate made to Pelikan's own formulation. It is shaped, ground, and diamond-cut to its final contour before the finished instrument is polished. Black resin parts and silver-toned trim frame the blue-and-black stripes.
Made in Germany, the fountain pen has a rhodium-plated 18k gold nib, a piston filling system for bottled ink, and a screw-on cap. With the cap posted, the pen measures 165 mm in length. The barrel is 127 mm long and 15 mm wide, and the pen weighs 18 g without the cap.

What makes the striped barrel distinctive?
The blue-and-black cellulose acetate is made to Pelikan's own formulation. Shaping, grinding, and diamond cutting establish the final contour before the finished instrument is polished.
How is the fountain pen filled?
The pen fills with bottled ink through its built-in piston system. The filling knob operates the piston; no cartridge or separate converter is used.
