The Pelikan Souverän M600 Black gives polished black resin a gold-plated beak-shaped clip and double rings, hallmarks of this Souverän design.
Double rings are set into the cap and barrel before final polishing. Their 24-karat gold plating matches the beak-shaped clip, standing out against the polished black resin.
Pelikan assembles the fountain pen in Germany and tests its 14-karat gold nib by hand. The nib has rhodium decoration, while a green window shows the ink level in the piston reservoir. The pen uses bottled ink and closes with a screw-on cap.
With a barrel length of 123 mm and a barrel width of 13 mm, it measures 153 mm posted and weighs 12 g without the cap.
