A petal-shaped, ruby-colored synthetic stone decorates the clip. Its form refers to the rose named after Callas in 1965, connecting her love of flowers with the jewelry-inspired color. Laurel leaves around the cone refer to a costume detail from Bellini's Norma, one of her signature roles, with her signature completing the tribute.
The handcrafted, rhodium-coated 14k gold nib carries her characteristic cat-eye makeup and the name La Divina. These engraved details bring her recognizable image to the nib, and the fountain pen uses Montblanc ink cartridges.
