The Montblanc Enzo Ferrari Giallo Modena rollerball celebrates Ferrari's hometown in yellow resin, with engraved details recalling his first racing car.
Modena's crest and the Scuderia Ferrari logo inspired the yellow precious resin of Giallo Modena. Ruthenium-coated trim contrasts with the yellow, and the blue resin Montblanc emblem picks up another of the city's heraldic colors. The metalwork around the emblem resembles a vintage car grille.
Ferrari's signature appears alongside Officina Meccanica Alfredo Ferrari, the name of his father's workshop. The dates on the cone mark his birth and first racing victory.
After Ferrari's first victory at the Circuito del Savio, Countess Paolina Biancoli suggested that he use the horse from her son Francesco Baracca's aircraft for luck. Her words, Le porterà fortuna, accompany the Prancing Horse and mean “It will bring you luck.” Twelve engraved lines represent the twelve cylinders of the 125 S, Ferrari's first car, which left the Maranello factory on March 12, 1947. The clip bears the quotation “You cannot describe passion, you can only live it.”
Made in Germany, the rollerball uses an original Montblanc refill and closes with a screw-on cap.
