The Esterbrook Estie Sea Glass fountain pen celebrates the coast in green resin and PVD gold trim, with a finish inspired by the shores near the brand’s birthplace.
Sea glass is the weathered glass found along the shore, in colors ranging from amber and green to black, pale pink, frosted clear, and rare turquoise blue. That coastal palette inspired the collection and gives this green resin version its name.
The fountain pen has a stainless steel nib with a PVD gold finish and accepts standard international cartridges or a converter for bottled ink. Inside the screw-on cap, Esterbrook’s cushion closure inner cap helps reduce ink dry-out between uses.

What inspired the Sea Glass collection?
Esterbrook drew inspiration from the shores near its birthplace and the weathered glass found along the coast. Sea glass ranges from amber and green to black, pale pink, frosted clear, and rare turquoise blue; that palette inspired the collection. This version has green resin and PVD gold trim.
Can I use cartridges and bottled ink?
Yes. It accepts standard international cartridges or a converter for bottled ink. This is the cartridge/converter Sea Glass; the piston-filling model is a separate version.
What does the cushion closure inner cap do?
It helps reduce ink dry-out while the fountain pen is capped. The inner closure sits inside the screw-on cap and helps keep the ink wet between writing sessions.
