Briston Streamliner Kennedy Automatic Watch with White Dial.
Streamliner Kennedy is the square collection of the Streamliner line, drawn for the Sporting Life of polo grounds and golf weekends, with a lapis lazuli cabochon in the crown at 12 o’clock. The Streamliner Kennedy Automatic is the ultra-thin automatic of the collection, with hours, minutes and central seconds. Its case, vertical brushed stainless steel with cellulose acetate sides, measures 36 mm across and 10 mm thick.
Beneath a sapphire crystal sits a Japanese Miyota 9039 automatic movement, with a 42-hour power reserve at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The 316L case back opens onto the movement through a see-through window, and a few turns of the crown start the movement by hand.
Under the crystal, a silvered white two-layer dial carries a black subdial, hollowed Roman and Arabic numerals, a railway minute track and a guilloché center, with Super-LumiNova C1 inserts on the brushed steel dauphine hands. Briston delivers it on a chocolate vintage leather strap in two parts, measuring 20 mm at the lugs, closing on a steel pin buckle.

What inspired the Streamliner Kennedy?
The collection was designed for the Sporting Life, from polo grounds to golf weekends. Briston, the independent French brand founded by Brice Jaunet in 2013, offers it in quartz or automatic versions with interchangeable straps. The Streamliner line takes its shape from the Streamline movement of the late 1930s.
What is set in the crown?
A lapis lazuli cabochon, set into the polished steel crown at 12 o’clock, a detail shared across the Streamliner Kennedy collection.
How water resistant is it?
Rated to 5 ATM, or 50 m, it is meant for moderate contact with water such as hand-washing, rain or a shower, according to the Briston manual.
How long does it run when it is not worn?
About 42 hours from a full wind. Wearing it keeps it wound, and after a longer rest a few turns of the crown start it again.
How well does the crystal hold up?
Sapphire sits at 9 on the Mohs scale and ranks among the most scratch-resistant materials in watchmaking, so few things encountered in normal wear will mark it. A violent knock can still crack it.
