The Vostok Europe Object X, limited to 1,000 watches, sets four tritium blocks along a luminous X on a blue aventurine dial.
An X on blue aventurine
The dial is made of blue aventurine, and a large luminous X in Super-LumiNova crosses it. Vostok Europe named the watch after an unidentified celestial body.
Four tritium blocks
Four sealed tritium blocks sit along the X. Each glows continuously, without a battery or any need for prior exposure to sunlight or a lamp.
Ceramic bezel and red-tinted case back
A fixed bezel with a shiny black ceramic ring frames the dial. The screw-down case back is fitted with red-tinted glass.
Two straps in the box
The watch comes with two silicone straps, one red and one fully luminous that glows blue in the dark. Both measure 24 mm at the lugs and fasten with a buckle.
The details
The Japanese-made TMI NH35 automatic movement has 24 jewels and a power reserve of 41 hours when fully wound. It powers the hours, minutes, seconds, and date.
The 316L stainless steel case, finished in blue PVD, measures 48 mm across, 58.2 mm lug to lug, and 16 mm thick. A domed K1 crystal, a hardened mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating, covers the dial. The fixed bezel carries a shiny black ceramic ring, and the screw-down case back is fitted with red-tinted glass. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters.
Two silicone straps, one red and one fully luminous, measure 24 mm at the lugs and fasten with a buckle. The watch ships in a Vostok Europe Flat Box.

What is Object X?
An unidentified celestial body, and the starting point of the design. The dial is cut from blue aventurine, and a luminous X crosses it with 4 blocks of tritium set along the line.
What are the tritium blocks on the dial?
4 sealed blocks in which tritium gas makes a luminescent coating glow continuously without charging. The Trigalight tubes are made in Switzerland by MB-microtec, a Vostok Europe supplier since 2009. After about 10 years, their brightness settles at approximately 50 percent.
What is K1 crystal?
A synthetic crystal that combines the shock resistance of hardened mineral glass with scratch resistance close to that of sapphire. On this watch, the crystal has an anti-reflective coating to improve readability.
How does the case size affect the fit on the wrist?
The case measures 58.2 mm from lug to lug. That span across the top of the wrist matters more for fit than the 48 mm case diameter.
Who makes the movement?
TMI, a movement maker in Japan’s Seiko Group. Vostok Europe, founded in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2003, has used Japanese movements since 2010 and stopped using Russian ones in 2014. The case is assembled in Lithuania around this automatic caliber.
