Venezianico Nereide GMT Ceratung™ combines ceramic and tungsten in a single 24-hour bezel.
Ceramic and tungsten in one bezel
The Ceratung™ insert joins glossy black ceramic and bright tungsten, two highly scratch-resistant materials. Their contrasting colors split the 24-hour scale into two halves. The bezel turns both ways through 24 clicks, so you can use the GMT hand to read another time zone off the bezel.
A Swiss GMT movement
Soprod builds the V3290 in Switzerland, using the C125 as its base. On the road, its central GMT hand adjusts independently of the hour and minute hands. Developed with Venezianico, the V3290 has sandblasted bridges and a rhodium-plated skeletonized rotor. Final assembly and regulation take place at Venezianico’s atelier in Italy.
The details
The automatic movement has 25 jewels, Incabloc shock protection, and a 42-hour power reserve. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is regulated to a stated -4/+6 seconds per day. A circular satin-finished 24-hour ring borders the lacquered black dial, which has a date window at 6 o’clock. Swiss-made BGW9 Super-LumiNova helps you read the time in low light.
The 316L stainless steel case measures 42 mm across, 49 mm lug to lug, and 12.5 mm thick. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers the dial, the crown screws down, and water resistance is rated at 200 meters. The Sansovino steel bracelet alternates polished and satin-finished surfaces and closes with a folding clasp. The Nereide name recalls a Venetian-built submarine of 1919.

What does the name Nereide refer to?
It was the name of a submarine built in Venice between 1911 and 1913. Its naval engineering history inspired the collection’s maritime design and rotating bezels.
How do I read the second time zone?
The GMT hand makes one circuit in 24 hours. Read it against the 24-hour scale for the reference time, while the main hands show the other zone. The full-day scale also tells you whether it is morning or evening at the reference location.
What is the Ceratung™ bezel insert?
It brings black ceramic and bright tungsten into the same 24-hour bezel insert. Both are highly scratch-resistant, with Mohs hardness ratings listed by Venezianico as 8 for ceramic and 9 for tungsten. Their contrasting colors divide the 24-hour scale into two halves.
What does sapphire’s hardness mean in everyday wear?
Sapphire’s hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale makes it highly resistant to everyday scratches. It can still be scratched by harder materials, and a hard impact can chip or crack it, especially at an edge.
Who makes the V3290 movement?
