Venezianico Nereide GMT Grand Tour tracks two time zones on a black sunburst dial, in steel with a rose gold-tone finish.
Two time zones
The Miyota 9075 is a traveler GMT. When you land, you can move the local hour hand independently in one-hour steps. The 24-hour hand holds a reference time, such as home time, and the seconds hand keeps moving during the adjustment. A date display and a bidirectional 24-click bezel complete the travel functions.
The Grand Tour on the case back
The Grand Tour was a journey through Europe to study its art, architecture, and culture. On the case back, a traveler surveys a landscape, framed by the names Venice, Paris, London, Lausanne, Sofia, and Istanbul. Together the cities trace a cultural route toward the East.
Rose gold tones and tungsten
A 5N rose gold IP coating covers the case and the Canova bracelet. The warm tone contrasts with the black dial and the polished tungsten bezel insert. Swiss-made BGW9 Super-LumiNova, charged by daylight or artificial light, helps you read the time in the dark.
The details
The Japanese Miyota 9075 automatic movement shows hours, minutes, seconds, and the date, plus a 24-hour GMT hand. The 316L stainless steel case measures 39 mm across, 45.5 mm lug to lug, and 11.9 mm thick.
An anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers the dial, the crown screws down, and water resistance is rated at 100 meters. A folding clasp secures the steel bracelet. The line takes its name from the Nereide, a submarine built in Venice in 1919 and part of the city’s naval history.
It was the name of a submarine built in Venice between 1911 and 1913. Its naval engineering history inspired the collection’s maritime design and rotating bezels.
The Miyota 9075 lets the local hour hand move independently in one-hour steps without stopping the seconds or changing the 24-hour reference hand. This lets you set local time on arrival while keeping home time on the GMT hand.
The polished tungsten insert is highly scratch-resistant, helping it retain its finish during everyday wear. It is a separate component from the case and still needs protection from hard impacts.
Wind it by hand before putting it on. Venezianico recommends about 20–30 turns of the crown to provide an initial reserve. If the crown screws down, unscrew it before winding and secure it afterward. The rotor replenishes the reserve as you wear the watch, though light activity may not supply enough energy to keep it running.
Sapphire’s hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale makes it highly resistant to everyday scratches. It can still be scratched by harder materials, and a hard impact can chip or crack it, especially at an edge.
