The Bauhaus Aviation G38 Chronograph is a pilot’s watch that times events in 1/20-second steps, with luminous silver numerals on a beige dial.
Counters and a date
The counters record up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds, and a window shows the date. Two pushers start, stop, and reset the chronograph.
Silver numerals that glow
Silver numerals and indices with a luminous coating mark the beige dial. Together with the luminous hands, they help you read the time in low light.
Named for the G 38
The G38 line takes its name from the G 38, a four-engine airliner that first flew in Dessau in 1929. The Bauhaus school was based in the same city from 1925 to 1932.
The details
The Japanese Miyota 6S20 quartz movement powers the hours, minutes, chronograph, and date beneath a K1 mineral crystal. The battery lasts about two years.
The polished stainless steel case measures 42 mm across and 12 mm thick. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters. The brown leather strap, 22 mm at the lugs, fastens with a pin buckle. The watch is made in Germany.

How do I use the chronograph?
Press the upper pusher to start and stop the chronograph, and the lower pusher to reset it to zero.
How long does the battery last?
About two years. Replacing it is a job for a watchmaker.
What is K1 mineral crystal?
A specially hardened mineral crystal. It resists scratches better than standard mineral crystal, though sapphire is harder still.
How does it differ from the 2376-3?
The 2376-3 has a blue dial and a dark blue leather strap. Both have the 42 mm case, the Miyota 6S20 movement, and the luminous silver numerals.
Where is it made, and what is the warranty?
It’s made in Germany, uses a Japanese quartz movement, and comes with a 3-year warranty.
