The Bauhaus Aviation Flight Control Automatic is an instrument-style pilot’s watch with large minute numerals around a dark green dial.
Minutes outside, hours inside
Large numerals around the edge of the dial mark the minutes, and smaller hour numerals sit inside them. A window shows the date.
Readable after dark
Beige numerals and indices with a luminous coating mark the dark green dial. Together with the luminous hands, they help you read the time in low light.
Made in Ruhla
Bauhaus watches are assembled in Ruhla, Thuringia, where watchmaking dates back to 1892. The workshop is housed in a landmarked 1929 Bauhaus-style building.
The details
The Swiss Sellita SW200 automatic movement powers the hours, minutes, seconds, and date, and provides a 38-hour power reserve. A see-through case back reveals the rotor.
The satin-finished stainless steel case measures 42 mm across and 12 mm thick, and a sapphire crystal covers the dial. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters. The brown leather strap, 22 mm at the lugs, fastens with a pin buckle. The watch is made in Germany.

How long does the power reserve last?
About 38 hours when fully wound. Daily wear keeps the mainspring wound. After a longer period off the wrist, a few turns of the crown will start the watch again.
How scratch-resistant is the crystal?
Sapphire’s hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale makes it highly resistant to everyday scratches. It can still be scratched by harder materials, and a hard impact can chip or crack it, especially at an edge.
How does it differ from the 2756-5?
The 2756-5 has a beige dial, black numerals, and a khaki leather strap. Both have the 42 mm case, the Sellita SW200 movement, and the outer minute numerals.
What does the see-through case back show?
The rotor of the Sellita SW200 automatic movement. It turns as the wrist moves and winds the mainspring.
Where is it made, and what is the warranty?
