As seems to be the case more often than not, Timex delivers excellent bang for your buck here. I was a little worried that the case finish would be a let down, largely due to the rendering of the watch in the gallery on Timex's official site, but my concern was unwarranted. The rubber strap is excellent and feels higher quality than some much more expensive gear. Little touches like the Explorer logo on the crown and Timex logo on the strap fastener also make this watch feel more premium than the price would suggest. The star of the show is the simple, pilot style face with nicely lumed numeral indices. In retrospect I realize it reminds me of a Laco pilot watch that I always loved but was a little out of my price range when I was interested. Excellent service from Iguana as well, I got an email informing me that there would be a delay in shipping, and when I asked a question I got a response quickly - then somehow I ended up receiving the package a day early!
