The Scribo Flow Memoria fountain pen sets ochre veining against matte anthracite ebonite, with an individual pattern that gives every example its own character.
Ochre veins run through the dark ebonite, catching the light across the cap and barrel's 24 facets. Their irregular shades and distribution give each Memoria a distinct pattern. The name means 'memory', and Scribo connects those lingering streaks of color with the trace a thought leaves on paper. The photographs show the finish's palette; the veining varies from pen to pen.
The cap, barrel, knob, and nib holder are handcrafted from matte ebonite and finished with platinum-finished metal details. Turned by hand, the natural material feels warm to the touch and gradually takes on the marks of use, adding another layer to the theme of memory.
An ebonite feed supplies the Scribo 18k gold nib. The piston filling system holds 1.42 ml of bottled ink, and the pen closes with a screw-on cap.
Memoria is made in Italy in a limited production of 100 fountain pens and comes in a natural leather and cotton case. It measures 150 mm capped, with a barrel width of 16.20 mm, and weighs 33.50 g with the cap.
