The Vostok Europe Jurgis Kairys Unlimited Aerobatics, limited to 500 watches, is a quartz chronograph with a cockpit-style dial and colors drawn from Kairys’s Su-31.
A cockpit-style dial
The black dial is built in layers in the style of an aircraft instrument, and its outer ring carries a telemeter scale. When the chronograph is started at a flash of lightning and stopped at the sound of thunder, the scale gives the distance to the storm.
A 60-minute chronograph
The Miyota 6S21 quartz chronograph times intervals of up to 60 minutes with its central seconds hand, and the dial adds a small seconds hand.
Named for Jurgis Kairys
Lithuanian aerobatic pilot and engineer Jurgis Kairys, an FAI World Grand Prix overall winner, helped develop the Sukhoi Su-31 he flies. Vostok Europe developed the line with him, and the red silicone strap takes its color from that aircraft.
The details
The Japanese-made Miyota 6S21 quartz chronograph movement powers the hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and chronograph.
The 316L stainless steel case, finished in black PVD, measures 46 mm across, 54.7 mm lug to lug, and 16.5 mm thick. A 3.7 mm thick domed K1 crystal, a hardened mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating, covers the dial. Super-LumiNova coats the hands and indexes. The solid case back screws down, and water resistance is rated at 200 meters.
The red silicone strap measures 22 mm at the lugs and fastens with a buckle. The watch ships in a paper box with a special sleeve.

A synthetic crystal that combines the shock resistance of hardened mineral glass with scratch resistance close to that of sapphire. On this watch, the crystal has an anti-reflective coating to improve readability.
The case measures 54.7 mm from lug to lug. That span across the top of the wrist matters more for fit than the 46 mm case diameter.
