The Zeppelin 100 Years Ed. 1 is a quartz chronograph with black numerals on a blue dial.
A 60-minute chronograph
The chronograph times intervals of up to 60 minutes on its counter. A subdial shows the small seconds, and a window shows the date. Black numerals and hour markers stand out on the blue dial, and luminous hands help you read the time in low light.
The 100 Years line
The first watch in the 100 Years line, called 100 Jahre in German, was shown at the Basel watch fair in 1989.
The details
The Japanese Miyota 6S11 quartz movement powers the hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and chronograph beneath a hardened K1 mineral crystal. The stainless steel case measures 42 mm across and 12 mm thick. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.
The blue leather strap fastens with a pin buckle. The watch is made in Germany.

How long can the chronograph time?
Up to 60 minutes, read on the chronograph counter. A separate subdial shows the small seconds, and a window shows the date.
What is K1 crystal?
K1 is mineral glass that has been heat-treated to harden it, so it resists scratches and impacts better than standard mineral glass. A deep scratch can’t be polished out, though.
How big is the case?
It measures 42 mm across and 12 mm thick.
Who makes the movement?
Miyota, the Japanese movement maker owned by Citizen. Zeppelin builds the watch around the Miyota 6S11 at its own workshop in Ruhla, Thuringia.
How water resistant is it?
It’s water resistant to 50 meters, but Zeppelin advises against wearing it in the shower or tub, or swimming in the ocean with it.
