The Bauhaus Aviation Titanium is a pilot’s watch with a 60-hour power reserve, enough for more than two days off the wrist.
A luminous beige dial
The entire beige dial is luminous, and white numerals and indices mark the hours. Together with the luminous hands, the dial helps you read the time in low light.
Made in Ruhla
Bauhaus watches are assembled in Ruhla, Thuringia, where watchmaking dates back to 1892. The workshop is housed in a landmarked 1929 Bauhaus-style building.
The details
The Japanese Miyota 8315 automatic movement powers the hours, minutes, seconds, and date, and provides a 60-hour power reserve. A see-through case back reveals the rotor.
The satin-finished titanium case measures 42 mm across and 13 mm thick, and a sapphire crystal covers the dial. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters. The dark brown leather strap, 22 mm at the lugs, fastens with a pin buckle. The watch is made in Germany.

How long does the power reserve last?
About 60 hours when fully wound. Daily wear keeps the mainspring wound. After a longer period off the wrist, a few turns of the crown will start the watch again.
Is titanium good for sensitive skin?
Bauhaus describes titanium as hypoallergenic and essentially free of nickel. The case is titanium, while the strap is leather.
How scratch-resistant is the crystal?
Sapphire’s hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale makes it highly resistant to everyday scratches. It can still be scratched by harder materials, and a hard impact can chip or crack it, especially at an edge.
How does it differ from the 2864M-5?
The 2864M-5 has a titanium bracelet instead of the strap. Both have the 42 mm case, the Miyota 8315 movement, and the 60-hour power reserve.
Where is it made, and what is the warranty?
It’s made in Germany, uses a Japanese automatic movement, and comes with a 3-year warranty.
