The pen is a beautiful matte black, the piston filler operates smoothly, the cap posts securely, it is light and balanced in the hand, the Italic nib looks amazing and writes well, just a little bit of feedback but not scratchy at all, extremely smooth when rotated and writing in cursive. This is an excellent little pen, very comfortable to write with, light, nicely balanced, and in my case with a very pleasant stub, but somewhat crisp, nib. It really shows great craftsmanship.
