A few months ago Montegrappa launched a very expected collection: The Montegrappa Game of Thrones collection created in collaboration with HBO. This collection featured four different versions of writing instruments inspired in the most popular houses of this TV show: Stark, Lannister, Baratheon and Targaryen.

This collection has been really succesfull amongst writing and Game of Thrones fans, however Montegrappa still had a final surprise. This summer Montegrappa has launched the Limited Edition Montegrappa Game of Thrones Iron Throne. A Limited Edition inspired in the Iron Throne for which everyone fights in this saga.

Review

The Montegrappa Game of Thrones Iron Throne has an amazing design. It is a masterpiece created in a bicolored precious metal, decorated using the lost wax technique in sterling silver with vermeil trims. This is enhanced with details in black and white celluloid.

The design of its cap evokes a real crown created with swords. Its clip also features a sword and is enhanced with a genuine ruby giving the piece a unique touch.

The body of the Montegrappa Game of Thrones Iron Throne edition is a spiral, in which we can see the Westeros families in war represented through stamps and fantastic creatures which have fascinated the audience over 13 seasons.

This exclusive Limited Edition is available in fountain pen and rollerballl.  For each of them they have created 300 pieces. Furthermore it has a special packaging: A black lacquered case with silver trims and red coating.

The fountain pen uses a piston filler system and is magnified by an engraving of the Iron Throne on its nib.
