Along via Piella (Italia), one of the many streets in the centre, there is a "window" overlooking the Moline canal: a watercourse, mostly underground, which emerges at this point in the city, flowing between the balconies of the houses. Looking out of this small crevice, one can see the red of the Bolognese houses interacting not only with the blue of the sky, but with an unexpected blue, that of the play of light from the flowing water.
To "discover" something literally means to strip it of what covers it, to open it, like opening a small, apparently insignificant window. However, it also means being able to be surprised, maintaining an attitude of curiosity towards the world.
Scribo is launching two new fountain pens from the LA DOTTA collection: Piella, in mottled blue, and Moline, characterised by a mother-of-pearl blue. Their names and colours, accompanied by ruthenium finishes, refer to the element of water as a hidden and unexpected treasure of our city, once surrounded by canals now covered.
I found Iguana really friendly, helpful and efficient to both buy the pen and when I had a query - very quick to respond. The pen is gorgeous and I’m now using it every day.
